This article is about Eldon & Joan, who I had the pleasure of meeting while visiting my son in Circle Pines Minnesota two years ago. We had gone to” Back to the Fifties” in St. Paul that year, so we had our 29 sedan with us. While working on a broken headlight at my sons, I noticed the man across the street had a Ford Roadster setting in his driveway. He came over and helped me fix my light, and I ask him if he had any other cars. He replied come look in my Old Ford Garage. When he slid opened the garage door, and it was an old garage, I was amazed. This is something you hear about and very rarely see, there had to be six or seven Model A cars from a 1928 2 dr sedan to a 1930 2dr sedan and 3 1930 four dr sedans plus a 1931 Ford Vicky and another Ford Roadster. Out side, were two or three 1930 sedans under tarps. Eldon said they also have a 1932 Ford 5 window cpe and a 1934 5 window cpe and others such as a1931 Dodge four dr sedan and a 1938 Int. pickup The list goes on .Eldon is in his 70’s and said he has been collecting cars since he was fourteen years old. I ask him if he would consider selling any of the classics, he said he might but his wife probly wouldn’t let him. Eldon and Joan are real nice people. I tried to get more up to date pictures but at the time I wanted to do this article, there was over three foot of snow around the garage. But I did manage to get some pictures.
Thanks Eldon and Joan

While at the 22nd annual Scottish Game & Car Show, I met Bob McVeigh, from Palm Beach, Fl. with his red 1959 Pontiac Catalina convertible. You talk about 50’s! This car has red & white leather interior, finder skirts, spinner hub caps & a beautiful Continental kit, Bob had made. Bob & Mary are moving from Fl. to the Wiggins area soon.
After loosing so many cars to Katrina, it’s nice to see people moving to the area with such fine classics.
